Kerasilk Keratin smoothing treatment is a method of hair smoothing that will last up to 5 months.

This in-salon Goldwell treatment works to de-frizz your hair, to make it more manageable, smoother, frizz free and fabulous! But the unique properties of keratin are wonderful for the health of your hair, too. It helps to repair damaged hair.

Our hair is made up of keratin protein molecules, connected by various sorts of bonds. These bonds can take a beating from the procedures and chemical treatments we do to our hair. During the smoothing treatment, we will wash your hair in an alkaline based shampoo which will open the cuticle of the hair. Then we apply Kerasilk Keratin lotion to your hair and seal it in with the straightening irons to restore and reinforce your locks for up to 5 months.

If you have naturally curly hair, and want to keep your curls we can customise this treatment to do so. Or alternatively we can relax the hair to a smoother shape. Remember a keratin treatment won’t have the same straightening impact as traditional thermal hair straightening. But it will strengthen your hair and encourage a gorgeous, healthy glow and seriously reduce the frizz you have to put up with.
